6/12 - In this video, we will describe what provisions are generally in a Mass Tort Settlement Agreement. Although no two Mass Tort Settlements Agreements are the same, there are some terms we tend to see in most Mass Tort Settlements that are helpful to review.

The presenter and writer of the program, Matt Garretson, has spent 25 years of his life helping to design and administer large scale settlement programs, such as the World Trade Center First Responders, the BP Oil Spill, several Sexual Abuse settlements involving universities and religious organization and dozens of settlements involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He is the author of the textbook titled, “Negotiating and Settling Tort Cases,” that lays out how settlement programs should operate.
